Brazilian player Leonardo Ritter has won his first major tournament! Leonardo defeated fellow Brazilian Luciano Begot in the finals of the Curitiba Regional Championships.
The tournament will be streamed by Karma Beam on 4–5 April, in Spanish, with César Reyes, Eduardo Abrego and Héctor Leal as casters!
This ruleset, last used at the 2025 World Championships, allows the use of two Restricted Legendary Pokémon. It will be used in official TPCi events with no end date, until the switch to Pokémon Champions is announced.
This online competition, held on 1–4 May and for the first time ever in Pokémon Champions, awards invites to the next online stages of Japan’s JCS and South Korea’s Trainers Cup, as well as priority registration for the Taiwan MBL, for players in each respective region.
The initial announcement by TPC stated that the Hong Kong Master Ball League would be held on 1–2 May, a Friday and a Saturday. It has now been confirmed that it will be held on 2–3 May instead!

TPC has announced that the top 22 players at the Taiwan MBL and the top 10 players at the other MBLs will receive an invite to the 2026 World Championships, with the top 4 in Taiwan and top 2 elsewhere earning Travel Awards. Additionally, for the first time ever, 4 extra slots will be reserved for Senior and Junior players!
